## One of the most magical places across the US that Work and Travel participants are visiting is Yosemite National Park.
Located in Central California, part of western Sierra Nevada takes you for the hike with some of the most incredible views that the US has to offer. That location and the beauty of nature make it one of the most popular destinations not only for the Work and Travel participants but for the other tourists as well.

Yosemite became World Heritage in 1984 due to its` unique waterfalls, crystal clear streams, granite formations, and biodiversity. It was first protected in the late 1800s’. Lastly, Yosemite is home to Sequoia groves, which is completely out of this world.
Sequoia Groves offers the ride that shows the most interesting places. During the trip, you will discover that some of them are so large that you could drive a van through. You will hear many fascinating stories about Sequoias, their history and how they evolved into what they are today.
## Some tips:
:tent: be aware that Yosemite is rather expensive if you are planing hotel/motel stay – you might camp instead or plan a one day visit
:rowboat: try to work on your physical condition – you will hike up the mountains for a couple of hours
:sweat_drops: water, water, water – bring lots of water especially when the days are still warm
:fries: plan your route and bring necessary equipment along with food and water
